Price Increases
Like you, we have seen many, many price increases over the last six months. The reasons for this vary somewhat by the product being sold. We at Warnco have been affected by worldwide increases in the cost of petroleum products, the raw materials in stainless steel, such as nickel and chromium, as well as shortages in materials due to worldwide demand. As the US dollar has become less attractive overseas, our exports have grown to countries like China and Western Europe. Have you been to Lowes or Home Depot and priced lumber or cement lately? Been to a fastener house and bought screws or bolts? Everything seems to be increasing in price! If you're like us, you're trying to ride the tide and minimize the effects on your customers while you struggle at times to remain competitive. Count on Warnco to do all we can to keep you from loosing business in this climate. Now, more than ever, we need to keep our communication open so we can serve as your conduit to the manufacturers, giving them the information they need to get you the best pricing. Lean on us! This is why you have a sales rep to count on!

At Warnco we are always taking steps in order to provide continued improvement of our customer service. We are pleased to present you with our newly re-designed web page. We are constantly looking for words to define ourselves, and what we are trying to accomplish as an organization. Some people understand what a manufacturer’s representative agency us, but often only think of it as a single person, or multi-person group that works independently from the manufacturer- sometimes out of an office or their home(s). Most people understand the concept of buy-resell distribution or wholesaling, which is most advantageous with the use of warehousing space that may be owned or rented by the agent. At Warnco, we have combined the features of both types of manufacturer’s representation, in order to clarify the definition of ourselves as a “Professional Sales Organization.” By having a large warehouse and office, which we own and has the capacity of expansion as the opportunities present themselves, and by having sales representatives strategically located and working out of their own areas, Warnco is able to service the customer’s needs and immediate wishes, while satisfying the desires of those manufacturers we represent whose factories may be hundreds or thousands of miles or even continents away.
As a “Professional Sales Organization” we are constantly looking for synergistic relationships with quality manufacturers in need of young and aggressive representation in the areas in which we sell, especially if they are in need of warehousing. We are actively pursuing manufacturers who offer us the opportunity to buy and resell their merchandise, as well, to our collective customer list which includes a database of over 2000 names along the east coast of the United States including distributors and original equipment manufacturers.
